Positive Pathways
"I was suffering from severe anxiety and depression before I started on Positive Pathways. I spent most of my time in bed.
Since I have been involved in the programme, I have grown in confidence. Being a mentor has taught me new skills and I started volunteering with different organisations. I am now starting university degree at Warwick and am really excited about it." Beth
Our flagship programme, 'Positive Pathways' has been funded by Orbit Heart of England and Whitefriars Housing. It was developed as a result of a feasibility study conducted by Wild Earth in the communities of Foleshill, Coventry. Our pilot programme ran successfully in 2013-14 and we are now delivering a 3 year programme in Coventry. We have won the Central Region Award for Excellence in Youth Involvement by TPAS - Tenant Engagement Experts - 4 March 2016 and were shorlisted for the national finals.
Positive Pathways runs with cohorts of 8-10 young people, 1 day a week, over 6 weeks and delivers bushcraft and survival skills, life skills and employability skills.
We are looking for referrals through partner organisations and if you are interested in joining us, please contact us.

Please note that you can refer a young person (or self-refer) on both programmes. If you refer for both 'Positive Pathways' and 'Nature Beats', you will be on a 2 days-a-week course for 6 weeks. You can use either referral forms and state that you'd like to do both.
